Summary: In the year 2071, mankind has ascended to the stars and made it's homes on numerous planets, moons, and space stations. With almost literal boundless potential before them, humanity has the ability to better itself or keep to their old, trouble making habits. To track down the lawless powers in the galaxy, bounty hunters cutely named "cowboys" bring some kind of justice to some of the the wilder spaces. Aloof Spike Spiegel and his partner, the ever pragmatic Jet Black, are two such cowboys destined for rewarding opportunities, insane diversions, and maybe some amount of closure.
Review: Cowboy Bebop is one of those shows that I honestly don't have a lot to say about. It's the anime to know and love, if you have any care for the genre's history. It also happens to be a great introduction to said genre for any noobie since it is an easily digestible, episodic series that changes it's tone so often that anyone can feel some kind of attachment. Personally though, I NEED to watch it again, since I feel like it's some kind of tragedy that I can't recall enough to warrant a full review. So, I suppose consider this a promise that I'll pursue a renewed passion and will hopefully have something to contribute outside of the standard "It's overrated" or "OMG 11/10 Best Show in Forever" criticism it gets.
